District Field Scheduler (Alouette District Position)

Reporting to Alouette District Chair person

Salary: $40 per team registered into the BCCSL league currently. $12.50 per team for super 8 house teams.

Hours:

  • 4 League scheduling meetings. 4 per year. 3 hours per meeting
  • 1-8 hours per week during peak times of July to September. 1 week in October and December
  • 1-2 hours per month in non-peak times

Key Responsibilities and duties:

  • Works with club schedulers to determine field times and locations
  • Works with club registrar to determine teams being entered into various leagues
  • Set up and upload district team information
  • Provides pairing information to seasonal leagues
  • Works with clubs to determine home game times/location for each division
  • Provide clubs within the district with a game schedule for all super 8 teams
  • Advises referee scheduler of home game schedule
  • Determines field back up location and schedule for fields that are closed
  • Schedules make up games as required
  • Main contact for league scheduling committee
  • Answer emails from coaches regarding scheduling
  • Provide district board with updates

Work Experience and Skills

  • Must be able to work with various computer programs (Office, Word, Excel)
  • Must be able to work with league software (Currently Got Soccer)
  • Must be organized and have some experience with scheduling

Team Head Coach

The position:
The Team Head Coach is a vital position within our community club, responsible for running development team programs and aiding player development. Successful applicants will understand vision and mission of the club and help meet the goals of providing our members with high quality programs. This paid position reports directly to the club's Technical Director

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Season planning.
  • Session planning.
  • Running effective and training sessions.
  • Manage games and follow club policies regarding development and playing time.
  • Attend Technical Staff meetings.
  • Attend club functions, as required.
  • Be an ambassador for the sport, club and community.

Age Group Head Coach

The position:
The Age Group Head Coach is a vital position within our community club, responsible for leadership and development of our volunteer coaches and players (in specific age groups). Successful applicants will understand vision and mission of the club and help meet the goals of providing our members with high quality programs. This paid position reports directly to the club's Technical Director

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead coaches as they create season plans.
  • Lead coaches as the create session plans.
  • Observe, mentor and lead coaches during their sessions.
  • Be a resource that aids in the development of volunteer coaches.
  • Assess and evaluate players within the age group.
  • Assess players in match play.
  • Responsible for player movement within the age group.
  • Attend Technical Staff meetings.
  • Attend club functions, as required.
  • Be an ambassador for the sport, club and community.

Technical Program Coach

The position:
The Technical Program Coach is a vital position within our community club, responsible for ancillary program coaching with in the club (i.e. Academy etc.) Successful applicants will understand vision and mission of the club and help meet the goals of providing our members with high quality programs. This paid position reports directly to the club's Technical Director

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver prescribed sessions for ancillary programs.
  • Provide player evaluations, when required.
  • Responsible for recommendations of player movement within the age group.
  • Attend Technical Staff meetings.
  • Attend club functions, as required.
  • Be an ambassador for the sport, club and community.
